WHAT IS ‘VINYASA’ YOGA ?
Vinyasa is the movement between poses in yoga, typically accompanied by mindful breathing. A practice moving through a series of asanas can be referred to as Vinyasa or Vinyasa flow. The sanskrit definition of Vinyasa is roughly translated as “to place in a purposeful way,” meaning the sequence of movements are placed together for a seamless flow. The movements, coordinated with the breath, bring the body and mind in sync.
